Prideindex.com has established this privacy policy to explain to you how your information is protected, collected and used - and the policy may ocassionally be updated by Prideindex.com. Please check the site periodically for changes.

1. Protecting your privacy

  • We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • We will not send you unsolicited communications for marketing purposes.
  • We offer registered users an email relay service to prevent 3rd party harvesting and spam. Site users select those individuals to whom they reveal their email address(es).
  • Account information is password-protected. Keep your password safe.
  • Prideindex.com does not knowingly collect any information from individuals under the age of 13. If Prideindex.com learns that a profile is by an individual under the age of 13, Prideindex.com will remove that profile.
  • Prideindex.com, or Prideindex.com users, may provide links to third party websites, which may have different privacy policies. Prideindex.com is not responsible for, nor do we have any control over, the privacy policies of third party websites. We encourage all users to read the privacy policies of all websites visited.

2. Data we collect

  • We collect your email address, for purposes such as sending confirmation emails, authenticating user accounts, subscription and profile email services, etc.
  • Like most Web sites, Prideindex.com collects information via electronic tools- "cookies" or clear gifs- that may be transparent to our visitors. The information captured via these tools will only be used in an aggregated manner.
  • Prideindex.com does not store credit card information. Credit card transactions are transmitted directly to a financial gateway, and we protect the security of your payment information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.
  • We may collect personal information if you provide it in feedback or comments, or if you contact us directly. Please do not post any personal information in your profile or property description that you expect to keep private.
  • Our web logs collect standard web log entries for each page served, including your IP address, page URL, and timestamp. Web logs help us to diagnose problems with our server, and to help administer the site.

3. Data we store

  • All profiles and property descriptions are stored in our database, even after expiration or deactivation, and may be archived elsewhere.
  • Our web logs and other records are stored indefinitely.
  • Users can manage their Prideindex.com account through the the various user account management tools available after logging into the site.
  • Although we make good faith efforts to store the information in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, we cannot guarantee complete security.

4. Circumstances in which Prideindex.com may release information

  • Prideindex.com may disclose information about its users if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process.
  • Prideindex.com may also disclose information about its users to law enforcement officers or others, in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to: enforce our Terms of Use; respond to claims that any profile, property description, or other content violates the rights of third-parties; or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Prideindex.com, its users or the general public.
